I thought I would write more often on my blog, but...

Pandemic, lockdown...

Someone would say that I would have more time to write on my blog...

And to knit... But...

I had time to do the second, but I was not in the mood to write on my blog...

I wanted to... Because I like blogging, but all that thing with us staying inside and being isolated and socially distancing didn't work well for me... I wanted to do nothing...

Of cource I did the necessary things, but I didn't want to work on my hobby, or my blog, or anything...

But...

We started socializing again (which took me sometime, to be honest), and I am back writing on my blog and sharing with you my progress...

And I have a lot of progress...

First of all, I finished my mother's cardigan... the Drops Summer Twinkle using YarnArt Super Perlee 100% acrylic yarn (she liked it, we bought it)... It need to weave in the ends and buttons, but there is no rush there... It's too hot here to wear it now, so I still have time...

Second, I started and finished a dress... Of my own design... 👏👏👏

I used Ice Yarns Baby Summer... The idea was to measure myself and make an A-line summer dress, light and airy...

And it worked... I am proud of it... But it needs to be frogged... Because I have a thing with swatching and gauge... I thought I had the correct numbers, but it ended up huge... I needs to be at least 10cm narrower and again I think it won't be enough...

So, I am not sure what to do with it...

I will frog it, but I don't know if I want to make a sleeveless top with assorted cardigan, or another dress (either my own design again or an already existed design)... I will think about it and I will keep you posted...

And third, I started a sweater for my cousin... the flax by Tin Can Knits... Again...

The first time was good... But the second is going to be even better...

I modified it a little... I did short rows on the back, to make the back a little higher... And I also made a crew neck using short rows... I basically went back and forth using the wrap and turn method and I made a neckline... It looks good... I just wait to finish the yoke and split for the body/sleeves to see if it looks as good as I see it now (which is squished on my needles)... We will see...

I will try to write my next post next week and show you my progress...

Untill then...

Stay safe!!!
(If you read it in a few years from now it's the pandemic 😁)
