It's been a fortnight (like Needles At The Ready say...)

I was planning on writing my memoires last week, but life is a little busy here...

But, I also had time to knit...

I have one finished object and two works in progress...

Ok, technically I had one work in progress and I cast-on the second one yesterday morning, in order to have two...

To be honest, it keeps me motivated to write on the blog. I want to make progress and share it with you... I like it... 😍

My finished object is the hat from the Florence Set... I now have two out of three pieces... 

No, four pieces... Hmmm!!!

I have to knit two mittens, but they are pair... So, is it a three-piece or a four-piece set??? 😕😕😕

Whatever... 

The hat was easy... It had the same repeat as the cowl and it finished quickly... I needed less than 100grams which is good. 

I should cast on with 3,5mm needles but I was using them on my dress and I couldn't find my double pointed needles, so I cast on with a 4,00mm needles.

Now, the set is a gift to my friend, and she has curly hair, so I think it would fit well, but if it was for me it would be a little snag... I have to keep that in mind...

 

I cast on the first mitten yesterday, so I am only on the cuff but I think it won't take long... I just knit a little everyday... And to be honest, I could have finished if I wasn't lazy... I hope by next week I will have it ready and photograph the whole set...

 

I thought of wearing it and taking the photo, but it is extremely hot here and I don't think I can make it now, but I will do it and post it on instagram...

The second work in progress is my dress... There is not much to say about it... It is just plain stockinette... It is the perfect project for the movie night, because I don't have to pay attention and I can knit a lot while watching...

I think it will be ready within the month, by I don't see it happening next week...

Although the last two weeks I worked a lot on it and we watched long movies, so I had a lot of time to knit...

Which is the queue for the movie talk... 

Last week we watched "Catch Me If You Can" (do you see a pattern here??? DiCaprio??? Yes, I know... But wait, there is a twist...)

That was my second time watching it, but my boyfriend hadn't seen it, so we watched it again... What can I say... Both DiCaprio and Hanks were amazing!!!

A really good movie and a true story...

This week we watched... The DaVinci Code...

Did you see what I did there??? We had DiCaprio... The DiCaprio AND Hanks and now we have Hanks... A smooth transition... 😂😂😂

Again, a second time watching it, but a good one... 

I don't mind the murders (in fact I like those movies and books), so it didn't bother me... And a 3hour movie... Perfect knitting movie... 😁

This week I have no idea what we will watch, but I will let you know...

I also ready, so if you are interested, I could tell you about my reading as well... But I cannot read and knit... Let me know...

And moving on to dream-knitting...

I have to find a shawl pattern to knit for both my mother and mother-in-law for Christmas and I am not sure which one... If you have any suggestions, let me know...
