Welcome back!!! (I have to think of a greeting... 😀)
I am back in a week and not in two, since you requested... (only one answered and said to do it every week, but I took it under consideration... 😁) I will try to meet your expectations...
This week I have some progress... Only WIPs again and I might say I have a HO...
Without further ado lets begin...
My Half Finished Objects
I have a half finished object this week...
Well... Technically, it is not a half finished object because it is not part of a pair...
But I wanted to have more categories this week...
I finished the back of my boyfriend's vest...
As I have mentioned before it is the Unisex Adult V-neck Vest which I have no idea how to find the pattern again because it is no longer available online...
I could have started the front, but - to be honest - I was a bit lazy and I didn't... I have the yarn ready, the needles ready, but...
I hope to do it tomorrow or on Saturday and knit a few rows for next week...
My Works In Progress
My skirt goes well and I still have plenty of yarn, which means I might have enough to make it as long as I like (which is probably on the knee)... At the moment it is approximately at 30cm and I have to knit it up to 48cm (more or less)...
I tried it and it fits me on the waist (which is good), but it was a scary procedure, because I thought I could do it with live stitches and a needle shorter than my hips... It is safe now and I continue knitting...
The skirt is a Drops Designs pattern called Oxford Skirt and I knit it using some leftover yarn I had from a sweater I knit for my brother when I was a beginner (which was a long time ago...)
My Movie Knitting
This week we watched the remaining of Blade Runner (the old one) and I made some progress on the sock...
I also had to participate at a webinar and I chose the sock instead of the skirt (for no particular reason)...
So the progress is of a 2,5 hour knitting, which is good...
During the movie I dropped two stitches and I had to pick them up, but I noticed it after 8 rows and it made it a bit difficult to fix, but I did it...
As you can imagine it will take me some time to finish the first sock, because boys have big feet... At the moment I have knit 14cm and I have to go up to 22,5cm to start the heel... And that's the part I love...
This week we will probably watch the new Blade Runner which gives me the same amount of hours to knit again (minus the time it takes me to eat the pop-corn... 😀)
If I remember, I will take a picture of the pop-corn as well... I have nailed it...
I hope by next week I will have something finished (possibly the skirt...) and I know I said I would have the mitten ready, but I didn't even cast it on... Perhaps next week...
Until next time...
Stay safe!!!
