Snowden was one of the best movie choices I have made... (the second one is on the next post)...
Based on real events, Snowden was a young man who found out that USA were spying on US citizen's communication...
Needless to say that the actors were amazing on their roles and the director did it's best to deliver a very good movie...
But knowing that these were real events, made me thinking of how safe we are and how much anonymity there is...
Being on social media all day, are we an easy target? I mean, now they don't care because I am a nobody among other nobodies... But what if they decide that women are bad, or that blonds are bad... Are we even safe?
Hopefully yes, because there are still people like Snowden...
I remember that around the time the movie is taking place, here in Greece we had the same thing. Politicians being spied on their phones by a telecommunication company... Not sure what happened next, because these things never reach publicity... And I have a double opinion on that... On the one hand it is not gossip... But on the other, I would like to know what happened on the matter...
But maybe I just never learned what happened...
I highly highly suggest the movie...
On the knitting part, I was knitting on my boyfriend's socks.. It doesn't take that long but it is a sport weight yarn a little bigger needles and I need to figure out the cast on stitches and the rows of the foot...
It went well and I hope to have them finished soon...
What about you? What have you been knitting? Have you watched Snowden?
Wish you well!!
See you next time...
