Monday Thoughts : July 15, 2024

 Hello, hello!!!

I have been absent, but I am back.

And I am back from Mykonos Island... One more year...

I am here again, working as a receptionist full time... I can't complain... My job is very rewarding most of the times and I get to meet people from different cultures, people from all around the world...

However, working in customer service can be difficult sometimes...

And I am at this point at the moment...

It is high season here on the island and there are a lot to deal with. But I manage.

And I have time to knit...

Is the weather good for knitting with wool? Nope... But someone invented the A.C. and I feel grateful he did... And his name was Willis Carrier, just for the record... 

Now, I get to have the A.C. on and knit with wool... And, let me tell you, that I do...

 It feels very relaxing and meditative after a long day at work. The stitches forming one after the other and the clinging of the needles... You know what I mean...

Plus you feel like you do something and not waste your time scrolling on social media.

I also like to knit and read at the same time. I can only do it with ebooks, but again. Two birds with one stone. Because I have a book reading goal as well.

Now that I think of it, if I had a knitting goal I would be more motivated. But I don't. Although, I could make a challenge of myself (and you - if you are interested in participationg).

That sounds so nice.

A knitalong... Oh, wait... That's already a thing... Great! I don't need to figure it out...

Like a book club, but with knitting... A knitting club...

I am brainstorming at the moment, but I thing I will go for it... I like the idea...
And I could do live sessions on Youtube or Instagram.

I like it...

Let me figure it out and I will get back to you...

Also, I am thinking of having an email list...

Yeah!

Let's start from there and go on... 

I have a subscription box on my Home Page (or, probably in every page... 😄)
