I am getting ready for 2024 and I finalized my planner line-up (techo kaigi) for the new year.
Last year, I found planner peace (if that is a thing), I bought two planner and I used them both... I had a weekly planner and a daily planner
I used the daily planner strictly for morning journaling. I would wake up in the morning, sit with some relaxing music from Insight Timer and my coffee and I would write. At the beginning I was writing how my previous day was. But as I progressed, I found out that I needed to log some things related to my anxiety. And I ended up starting my entry with the time of the day I was writing, what time I woke up, if I stayed in bed scrolling on social media and how was my sleep. Did I wake up during the night? Was it easy to sleep? Was I feeling rested.
After that I would write what happened the previous day and how it made me feel. It was like a catalog of my day and the emotions I felt doing different things.
And sometimes, I would write what I would like to do the day forward as a self care.
The use of my weekly planner was a little different. I have a weekly with memo.
I experimented with different ways to use it and I ended up creating a grid where I would write things to do on the day specific area and to do list and daily stats on the other page
I didn't find a way to use my monthly layout... I tried to make it work, buy nothing stuck...
And that brings us to my 2024 plans...
I will keep my daily planner as is. I will use it for journaling and at the back, I will create years in pixels for different things I want to track. Like my sleep, my anxiety and my productivity.
My weekly planner will be use mostly like 2023, but with a few changes.
I will use the monthly layout for my jenny's knittings personna. I will keep track of my content (blogposts, social media posts) and my knitting

On the weekly pages, I will focus more on self care. Things I want to do for me that will make me feel good or relaxed. I have a feeling that this year I wasn't hyper-focused on me. I would do a lot of things in general and I would be productive, but I wouldn't do things to relax or feel good about myself.
So, I will keep track of my diet and my steps and when I did things, like my nails. What I am reading and what I liked that day. But again, if that doesn't work, I will just change things up.
The last planner I am going to use is an older one.
I will use it as my everyday planner. I will write my to-do list and notes that come to my mind. Sort of bullet journal. It is a way to use a planner from a previous year (this is from 2018) and to catch my thoughts (since that worked well last year)
And last but not least, my pen will be this pilot pen
I like using the black ink for journaling, the blue ink for my writting and green and red for color-coding.
And that is all...
How many planners are you using on 2024? Let me know on my social media.
Until next time!
Cheers!
Jenny
