An update... And a future plan...

 

Hello!!!

I know it's been a long time since I last spoke here, but it has been a very difficult season...

I felt overwhelmed and in the edge of a burn out... If not having it...

As said before, I work seasonally, at a hotel in Mykonos... The season is, finally, over - since the end of October - but now I felt like relaxing and wind down from all the craziness...

I wasn't in the mood of anything... And I only did what I had to to just pass the days... To survive...

I cooked only to have something to eat, not like I felt it... I wasn't enjoying it...

And I decided to take my time... To fight the fatigue and to stand back on my feet...

I am still in Mykonos... I am lucky I have a house here and I can afford to do it...

The first days passed doing almost nothing... Just sleeping and lying in bed and watching movies and series and... Relaxing...

Part of all the fatigue was that I didn't want to create... Not only cook, but knit too... I tried to make something and then I would frog it... Again and again...

Up until a few days before, I wasn't feeling inspired...

But now I am more calm and relaxed and rest and I got back on my favorite hobby... And I feel that goes well...

I don't knit a pattern, I just figure it out as I go...

It is a cardigan for my sister-in-law...

Do I enjoy it??? You cannot imagine...

I like the fact that I can create again... The fact that I can make things with my hands...

And as I said before, knitting is like a meditation to me. Every stitch is like taking away my thoughts and I can relax...

I plan on finishing this cardigan and then I want to make a pattern for my niece...

I haven't figured out what to make, yet, but I will keep you posted...
